Sylvie
Proisl

Master of Science in Chiropractic

The sports enthusiast half-French, half-German successfully completed her chiropractic studies at the Institut Franco Européen de Chiropraxie (IFEC) in Paris. Sylvie gained her first experience as a chiropractor in the chiropractic practice Pianta in Hanover. Her further professional career led her via Paris to Strasbourg.

In Paris she completed the training "Médecine des Arts Musique" / "Medicine in the artistic field - focus on music". The analysis and optimization of posture on the various musical instruments can be used for musicians as a form of therapy as well as preventive.

With a special interest in all forms and types of movement, Sylvie's focus is on how the body compensates for certain weaknesses triggered by trauma, certain postural habits, or repetitive movements.

Whether a physically challenging job or an office job, whether one is very athletic or sits and practices at a musical instrument for long periods of time, any:r can suffer from acute or chronic pain as well as feel asymmetrical, stiff or immobile.

Malposition of the pelvis and its cranial compensations can be the starting point of all symptoms. Head, shoulder, neck pain, tension, spinal blockages with or without pain in the arms or legs. Sylvie's focus is to correct this misalignment through Cranio Sacral Therapy (Sacro Occipital Technique). In order to maintain more mobility and local relaxation in the long term, areas of tension are released.
